Reservations

Once we receive your booking enquiry, we will confirm your reservation in writing by email or letter. A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. For reservations made within 8 weeks of arrival, full payment is due at the time of booking.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer only.

Failure to pay the balance by the due date will be treated as a cancellation by the client.
Please note that Beacon Light is available exclusively to families and couples.

Arrival and Departure

Check-in time is from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival, and the property must be vacated by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
All rental periods run from Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellation Policy

We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive holiday insurance to protect against cancellation, curtailment, or loss of personal belongings.

as soon as possible.
Upon receiving written notice of cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let the property for the same period.

If successful, all monies paid will be refunded minus any difference in the re-let rate.

If cancellation occurs within 8 weeks of arrival and the property cannot be re-let, the client remains liable for the full rental amount.

House Unavailability

In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. fire, flood, damage, or transport disruption), the owners accept no liability other than to refund all payments made in full.

Good Housekeeping Deposit

Beacon Light is our personal holiday home, and we ask that guests treat it with care and respect.
A refundable security deposit of £400 is payable along with the final balance, 8 weeks prior to arrival.

The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer after your stay, provided:

The property is left clean and tidy

No damage, loss, or evidence of smoking occurs

If you are bringing a dog, a higher deposit may be requested.
In the event of cancellation prior to the start of your stay, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the house.

Pets

Well-behaved and fully trained dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement. Please contact the owners to discuss before booking.
